Article Water

We're always being told to drink more water and keep hydrated, especially for those dieting. But for many of us it's just not that easy. We forget or we get bored or we replace water with tea and coffee...that counts right?
So let's cut though the murk and look at some of the clear benefits of drinking your daily allowance:

Helps you lose weight – drinking water, especially before or during dinner helps you fill fuller. Drinking cold water can also rev up your metabolism and help burn a few extra calories!

Clear thinking – over 70% of your brain is made up of water so keeping hydrated can help keep you feeling alert and less stressed.

Energy boost – Dehydration makes you feel tired. Drinking water can give you a much needed pick me up if you're feeling drained or fatigued.

Glowing complexion – Drinking water moisturizes your skin and helps keep it soft and fresh. An anti-aging treatment that's free!

Keeping healthy – Water is not only a great natural way to prevent and relieve headaches (which are commonly caused by dehydration – think of a hangover!), but also generally boosts your immune system.

These are just some of the benefits of drinking water each day so pick up that glass and drink up!

If you do find yourself struggling to drink enough water each day a great tip is to have a water bottle on your desk / fridge and fill it at the start of each day. As your day goes on you will be able to see exactly how much water you are drinking and if you are getting enough.
