Life has been pretty hectic for the past few weeks, and although my weight is always at the forefront of my mind, sometimes other things have taken precedence.
When I got on the scales this week I was quite relieved to have stayed the same, as I had slightly overindulged at the weekend at a family BBQ, and with having a few extremely stressful weeks at work, my food choices haven't been the best.
But concentrating on the positives, I have been walking to work for the past few weeks which is just over a mile, and I'm definitely feeling the benefits. My exercise regime has been pretty non-existent, so just this little change is having a great impact on me, and encouraging me to get more active.
I'm heading out to do Race for Life in a few weeks' time, so I'm glad to be getting some practice in before I walk the 10km course in aid of cancer research.
