I say my 'new' beauty regime because I have never had one before. I don't really think slapping Bio Oil on after a shower can be classed as a regime!

Anyways, I spent most of the morning flicking through the TV, finally settling on some old re-runs of How To Look Good Naked with Gok Wan. As I was watching the show a lot of what he was saying was ringing true with me too (and also perfectly mimicked what my coach has been saying for months!).

I have lost an incredible amount of weight, and although I am very proud of myself and I am getting used to complimenting myself, I'm not showing my body much love.

Yes its nice to buy new clothes and give myself compliments on how good I look, but I've never really cared for myself very well. I know that I'm looking after the inside of my body, but the outside could do with some TLC too, so I hit the internet and made myself a list of things that I would like to try.

So now I have a small range of products and items to use, and to be honest, I feel better about myself already! I bought myself some lovely body scrub, a body brush which apparently helps with circulation and general skin health, a luxurious (and delicious smelling!) body butter, and I even went and got colour matched for a new mineral foundation powder which is so light and lovely to wear, I actually smile when I look at myself in the mirror!

I even bought fake tan to try as it's my brothers wedding soon and my legs are ridiculously white, but before I lost weight, I really wouldn't have had the confidence to try all these new things. I was too busy covering myself up and trying to blend into the background, whereas now I want people to notice me because I'm proud of how I'm looking and feeling.

It's amazing the effect a few bits a bobs like this can have on you, not just your appearance, but also on your self-esteem. I must say, I feel pretty invincible right now!
