When my trousers started getting uncomfortable, I decided to something about it. Ideal Weight was recommended to me, so I took the first step in kick-starting my weight loss and began the 4 Plan.
The plan was easy to follow, and as I lost the weight, I worked my way down the plans to reach my ideal weight.
The coaching sessions were great and helped me to learn good food skills and re-establish my relationship with food. Coaching helped me learn about the value of finding a healthy balance, and that having a setback is just that, not another failure.
I am reaping the positive benefits of the changes due to my weight loss, like the fact that I'm no longer breathless when I walk up three flights of stairs.
My favourite moment was when I recently needed to buy a new belt because my one was too big. I asked the shop assistant if they had a particular belt in a smaller size, and she told me that I'd have to go to the boys section! It was a great feeling.
For anyone thinking about starting an Ideal Weight plan, I would say stop thinking, start doing – I'm a walking advert for how well it works!
